As a certified PADI Open Water Scuba Diver, you are beginning on the adventure of a lifetime.  You have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional while moving ever closer to the ultimate diver rating...Master Scuba Diver.  If you already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with Ocean Concepts to see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program.

Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water dives.

PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you.   The average length of our course is 7 days.  But with the Ocean Concepts Executive Package your course can be completed in as little 3 days!  Check our schedule page to find a class that fits your schedule.

The Ocean Concepts Open Water Diver course comes all inclusive.  All you need to purchase are your individual diving items: Mask, Snorkel, Fins and Dive Boots.  The price of your Open Water Diver Course includes the following:
